Warewolf tooling help and more in the latest release

Our latest release went out today and you’ll notice some nice changes in version 0.4.21.107 of Warewolf. Our last release brought you extra stability, better performance and an entire knowledge base full of documentation.

We had some really awesome feedback on UI, thanks everyone! We have made a start on the revamp to make your interface friendlier. You will see these changes coming through in the next few releases. Please keep the suggestions coming, or better yet, head over to GitHub and contribute your changes!

Ribbon upgrade, tools, tool-tips and help

The Help has been moved into the Warewolf tool-tip for each filed for each tool on the design surface. Data types have also been added to the Help area – making the tools easier to learn and understand. You will also notice the ribbon has been upgraded to include a more intuitive “New” button, plus small descriptors for each button.

The Explorer, design surface and more

A large annoyance in the Explorer has been resolved where it kept jumping to the right when opening folders. Duplicate names are handled better on save and move in the Explorer. In certain instances work was being lost, also fixed. Remote workflows that have been deleted will now show correctly in error state on the design surface.
